Description
Most pre-workouts on the market fall into one of two traps. The first is the proprietary blend — a long, impressive-sounding list of ingredients hidden inside a single weight total, so you have no idea how much of each thing you’re actually getting. The second is the under-dose — recognizable ingredients listed on the label but at quantities so low they couldn’t possibly do what the label claims. Pristine Pre-Workout in fruit punch is built to avoid both.
This is a transparently dosed pre-workout where every active ingredient is listed at the amount the research actually supports. 6 grams of L-citrulline malate for blood flow and pumps. 2 grams of beta-alanine for muscular endurance. 1.5 grams of betaine anhydrous for power output. 1 gram of L-tyrosine for focus. 200 milligrams of caffeine anhydrous for clean energy. Available in two flavors — fruit punch and blue razz — both built to mix clean and taste good. No proprietary blends. No mystery ingredients. No hidden under-doses.
L-citrulline malate is the workhorse of any real pump formula. It converts to L-arginine in the body, which boosts nitric oxide production and improves blood flow to working muscles. The research suggests 6 to 8 grams as the effective dose. Most pre-workouts use 1 to 3 grams because it’s cheaper. We use the full 6 grams.
Beta-alanine is what gives some pre-workouts the tingling sensation on your skin. That’s a harmless side effect called paresthesia. What beta-alanine actually does is increase muscle carnosine levels, which buffers acid buildup during high-rep sets — meaning you can push closer to failure on sets in the 8-to-20 rep range. The effective dose is 2 to 3 grams; we use 2 grams per serving so the tingle isn’t overwhelming.
Betaine anhydrous (also called trimethylglycine) is one of the more underrated ingredients in performance supplements. It supports power output and strength in trained athletes at doses around 1.5 to 2.5 grams. We use 1.5 grams.
L-tyrosine is an amino acid that supports the production of dopamine and norepinephrine — the neurotransmitters that drive mental focus and the “locked-in” feeling during training. 1 gram per serving is a meaningful focus dose, especially stacked with caffeine.
Caffeine is caffeine. We use 200 milligrams of pure caffeine anhydrous per serving — roughly the equivalent of two cups of coffee. Enough to give you clean energy and improve perceived effort, not so much that you’re climbing the walls or crashing at hour two.
Both flavors are sweet, balanced, and easy to drink. We use a small amount of sucralose and acesulfame potassium for sweetness, plus malic and citric acids for tartness — the same flavor approach you’d find in most quality sports drinks. The powder mixes clean in cold water and doesn’t leave a chalky residue at the bottom of your shaker.
Every batch of Pristine Pre-Workout is manufactured in a cGMP-compliant facility in the United States and tested for purity, potency, heavy metals, and microbials before it ships. Certificates of Analysis are available for any batch on request.
This is the pre-workout for athletes who care about what’s actually in their scoop. Lifters who want real doses of pump ingredients. Runners and cyclists looking for clean energy without proprietary-blend nonsense. CrossFitters and HIIT athletes who need both stimulant energy and muscular endurance support. One scoop, mixed in 8 to 10 ounces of cold water, 20 to 30 minutes before training. Start with half a scoop the first time to assess your tolerance, especially if you’re sensitive to caffeine or new to beta-alanine.
